Startup Organizer 2.9.302
StartUp Organizer is an easytouse utility that lets users review and customize the programs they have set to run when they start their computers. The program’s multiplefeatures and intuitive interface make it a great choice. The program’s interface really couldn’t be simpler. A list of programs that are set to run on startup is the firstthing users see, and users can easily enable or disable programs by checking or unchecking the boxes next to each one. Of course, users can also make this change in theWindows System Configuration UtilityStartUp Organizer even contains a link to this, should users wish to access itbut StartUp Organizer offers a less intimidating option forcasual computer users who feel uncomfortable mucking around in Windows directly. In addition to its ease of use, StartUp Organizer has several extra features that make itworthwhile. The Controlled Startup feature allows users to skip over certain predefined programs during startup by holding down the Shift key. Users can also create backupconfigurations, which are useful if users are making major changes or need to switch back and forth between configurations. All of these features were easy to use, althoughwe do wish the builtin Help file went into a little more detail about some of the program’s more advanced features.
